The following rules and requirements will affect your fishing during the 2019Nevada  B.A.S.S. Nation Tournament events. Please read them carefully.

  1. The use of landing nets are allowed.
  2. Multiple lure rigs are not allowed. Rule #8. (No A-Rigs)
  3. Life vests WILL NOT be furnished. Non-Boater will need to bring their own life vests. Boaters, it is suggested you bring two (2) with you, in case you get assigned non-boater needs one. All contestants must have their life vest on any time the big motor is running.
  4. Bass will be measured 13” on a flat board. All short fish will be the judgment of the tournament director. Boaters Can weigh 5 – 13” Bass, Non-Boaters can weigh 3 - 13” Bass.

CULLING OF DEAD BASS IS PROHIBITED. For each legal dead bass presented to weigh-in officials, the competitor shall be penalized 4 oz. to be deducted from their daily score.

  1. It is all contestants' responsibility to read the 2019 BASS Nation rules and understand them.
  1. Boaters are to have a minimum of $300,000 liability insurance to fish any BASS tournaments. Random checks may be done by the tournament director.
  1. Do be at the Tournament site 1 hour before sunlight to sign up.
  1. Do wear a B.A.S.S. patch on your left or right chest during the event weigh-in, or a B.A.S.S. hat.

All contestants must be a current BASS member. You should have your member number on your phone.

  1. Late penalty. Competitors who are not at the official check-in point, as described in Rule 16, at the appointed time, shall be penalized at the rate of one pound per minute late;
  2. Any protest must be done in writing and presented to the tournament director before the weigh-in has been concluded.
  3. Contestants must have a valid fishing license for the lake the tournament is fishing.

12. During competition, in Boater-Non Boater type events, Boaters will fish from the front deck, Non-Boaters from the rear deck, NO EXCEPTIONS.

  1. Daily expenses The Non-Boater and Boater should split the daily expense for running the truck and boat. Non-Boaters. Just a reminder that the Boater has a great investment in the equipment you are fishing in for the day. The boater has maintenance, upkeep, and oil cost in the fishing today. Please take the time and discuss the expenses for the day. (Example most days on lake Mead or Mohave the daily cost is about $100. 00 in gas and oil to go to the Lake and fish for the day.)
